Passionné de cinéma, de photos et de voyages j’étudie à l’ESRA de 2002 à 2005. Après dix ans d’assistanat sur des films publicitaires et des longs métrages, l’expérience et la confiance acquises me permettent de mettre ma passion de l’image au service de réalisateurs comme chef opérateur. J’ai traversé des contrées perdues de la Sibérie à l’Argentine en passant par le Tadjikistan, rencontré des personnalités riches et vécu des aventures hors du commun. Autant d’expériences qui me donne envie de raconter des histoires dans des lieux insolites, de filmer des gens pour graver leur mémoire et de mettre ces acquis au service de nouveaux films .
My interest for cinema, photography and travel led me to study at E.S.R.A from 2002 - 2005. For the past ten years, I honed and polished my craft as a Camera Assistant, working on both Commercial and Feature Films. My expertise and total absorption of the technical, artistic and emotional aspects of the moving image have given me the utmost confidence to now assume the role of Cinematographer and to work hand in hand with a Director. I have worked and visited far flung locales off the beaten path, from the ever vast Siberia to the foothills of the Andes. I have crossed the rugged terrain of Tajikistan, always meeting interesting people with rich stories ripe for the telling. My outstanding adventures and intrepid nature compel me to seek unusual places so I can create a lasting image of diverse people and visually engrave their stories ... this is my passion and my calling.
